This recipe is a canning recipe, and good to use if you have strawberries
+that are about to expire
+
+
Yield: 1 pint of jam
+
+
You will need:
+
+ - 1lb of strawberries
+ - 3 cups of sugar
+
+
+
Process:
+
+ - Cut off tops of berries
+ - Crush berries up in mortar and pestle till form a liquidy paste
+ - Combine berries and sugar in pot. Bring to a slow boil
+ - Cook rapidly till thickens, ~40 mins. Stir often to avoid burning
+ - Remove from heat, pour hot into hot jars with 1/4in head space. Process
+ 15 mins in boiling bath
