This is a recipe I tend to resort to when I'm being lazy and don't feel like
putting in to much effort to cook, but still want good food.
Yield: 4 pieces of chicken
You will need:
- 2 chicken breasts
- Salt and Pepper
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 3.5 Tbsp of butter
- 2 garlic cloves (or garlic powder)
- 1.5 Tbsp of vinegar (white or apple cider)
- 1 Tbsp of soy sauce
- 1/3 cup of honey
Process:
- Cut each chicken breast in half horizontally. Season with salt and
pepper.
- Put flour in shallow dish/pan. Wet chicken slightly, coat in
flour
- Melt 2.5 Tbsp of butter in skillet
- Cook chicken wil golden on each side
- Add garlic to pan and butter. Stir together.
- Add vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Stir gently
to combine into
sauce.
- Cook chicken, flipping to coat in sauce. If
sauce gets to thick, add
water till thinner.
- Once cooked through, remove and drizzle
with sauce.
