Family radio service or FRS is private two way short distance comms for private
use. The radios are often licensed by the FCC and therefore the operator does
not need a license in any way.

There are 22 Channels with max power ranging from 0.5W to 2W, with frequencies
between 462.5625 - 462.7250.
