HF or high frequency is the band with frequencies between 3mhz and 30mhz. It is

the most prized band due to its ability to reflect off the ionosphere.

|
|

The HF band does not have operating channels, and therefore most radios for HF

|
are designed to be tuned contiuniously.

|
|

Most contacts are made randomly by calling CQ. The standard procdure would be
|
|
